My daughter is dealing with a burn side effect from her first emoblization surgery its going on a month and the wound / burn is still nasty looking and started back bleeding today. Has anyone else had this side effect and if so how was the recovery
I did in August of 2010. I had a massive heart attack on the table while he was embolizing and he accidentily let a balloon burst and surface to my skin. It's the worst, but I have a wonderful scar story! :) A month seems like a long time, but I remember that it took almost eight weeks for mine to heal. Since it has been so long, remember that air is good for it. It will heal quicker if it's dryer.
