Just wantned to let everybody know that i made it out of surgery which was on March 9th. The AVM is completely gone. God Bless Dr Byron Geregory Thompson! Still in the hospital might have to do some therapy. Left leg is feeling really goood but having a hard time with my left arm. Sometimes i can squeeze and other times i cant…and same thing with holding it up. thank you all for your support and prayers…Doctor is saying i should be 100% within 3 months. I would love to hear all your stories about how you felt right after surgery and how you are recovering now. Thank you so much. God bless you all

Kevin, that is fantastic news! I’m so happy for you. I could share my story about recovery, but it won’t really apply to you. I had a big bleed so my experience is very different from yours. In any event, I wish you the very best in your recovery. I’m guessing you’ll be having some sort of physical therapy? Work hard, it pays off!

Congratulations… Everyone recovers differently, but if your Doctor belives you will be 100% than I would also say congratulations for that as well!

HI KEVIN, GOD IS GOOD AND PRAY’S ARE ANSWERED. SO GLAD YOU ARE DOIN WELL. OK WITH ME MY RECOVERY WENT WELL I HAD A LITTLE BALANCE TROUBLE FOR A FEW MONTHS THEN IT WAS BACK TO NORMAL, I HAD A LITTLE EXTRA PAIN IN MY LEG SO I HAD P.T. FOR ALMOST TWO MONTHS DOC THINKS IT CAME FROM BEING STILL FOR SO LONG, PAIN IS GONE NOW, THE ONLY OTHER THING I LOST A LITTLE OF MY PERF IN MY LEFT EYE BUT I HAVE LEARN TO HANDLE THAT AS WELL. SO ALL IN ALL GOD WAS GOOD TO ME. GETTIN READY TO GO BACK TO WORK NEXT MONTH WHICH WILL MAKE A YEAR SINCE MY BLEED AND 6MONTHS SINCE I HAD MY SURGERY. EVERYONE DOES HEAL AT DIFFERENT RATES. I DONT HAVE ANY HAIR THESE DAYS BUT AS I MOVE AROUND I LOVE TELLIN PEOPLE ABOUT MY SCARE AND GOD’S HEALIN POWER OVER MY AVM. EVERYONE THAT I TALK WITH OR SEE ME CANT BELIEVE THAT I HAD BRAIN SURGERY 6MONTHS AGO. I BELEIVE THIS IS ONE OF THE REASON GOD SAVED MY LIFE TO LET OTHERS SEE HIS HEALIN POWER AND GIVE OTHERS HOPE.
